WORK DAY

June 19, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

free

We will be clearing brush and cleaning up the grounds. Please bring yard tools (gloves, rake, weed whacker, etc.) and a sack lunch. Water and snacks will be provided. This event is in conjunction with  “Juneteenth,” a day to celebrate the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. There are more than 350 people buried at Forest Grove who were born into slavery. Help us honor them by maintaining their final resting place, and remembering their stories.
